Why a Fee-for Service practice rather than one that accepts insurance?

In traditional physical therapy practices, whether hospital based or private, the reimbursement can be so low that the organization is forced to shorten visits and use less skilled practitioners to make ends meet.  For some conditions that will work.

Most of our patients are very complex, have seen multiple doctors and practitioners and have not made the progress they desire. Other patients have unusual diagnoses that are not treated in traditional PT practices.

Other patients with high deductible insurance plans will be faced with the very high fees at some of the larger organizations and may never meet their in-network deductible.

The fee- for-service model allows us the time and specialization to address the needs of our patients.  A Super-bill is provided with all of the codes needed to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement from your out-of-network benefits.  See the Insurance Guidelines form is on this website to help you navigate your benefits

Why a Fee-for Service practice rather than one that accepts insurance?

In traditional physical therapy practices, whether hospital based or private, the reimbursement can be so low that the organization is forced to shorten visits and use less skilled practitioners.  For some conditions that will work.

Most of our patients are very complex, have seen multiple doctors and practitioners and have not made the progress they desire. Other patients have unusual diagnoses that are not treated in traditional PT practices. The “fee-for-service” model allows us the time and specialization to address the complex needs of our patients.

Other patients with high deductible insurance plans are faced with meeting $4000-$7500 deductibles, and paying extremely high fees for each visit and still never reaching their in-network deductibles.

A Super-Bill is provided at the time of service with the codes needed to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement from your “out-of-network” benefits.  An “Insurance Guidelines Form” on this website will help you navigate your benefits.
